Is Common Sense dead?
While the death of Common Sense has not yet been, nor is expected ever to be, officially confirmed by authorities, it seems to have disappeared from the collective psyche. In past years, the most honorable Common Sense has been responsible for many of humanity's most propelling acheivements, ie: Bhuddism, the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and extra virgin olive oil. Unfortunately, Common sense has (allegedly) passed on. Perhaps most harrowing in this unfortunate turn of events, is that Common Sense, which had for eons thrived and flourished, apeared only within the last century to have taken a serious turn for the worse. Near the end, Common Sense seemed to show itself less and less often, up until the cyber age, when the last traces of it seemed to have vaporized completely. While scant traces of its existance remain, and unconfirmed reports adamantly argue its existance, few, still, would contest that Common Sense, whatever has happened to it, has failed to make it's presence known in any substantial way within the last 50 years. Hopefully, with your help, we can solve the mystery, and, if Common Sense IS still with us, we might convince it to come out from its hidey-hole and return to power.
